Some people give up, because if there’s no free will, why bother doing anything? Others are better at pretending and continue to go on with life as before.Ībout halfway through the story, the readers learns its the narrator talking to his present self from the future. Even in a toy, the circuits cause people to question their lives. Of course, it ends up in a toy first, because that’s where all the best technology is placed.
